May 20 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipyard Brodogradiliste Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN] said on Friday it will propose to its shareholders to distribute a dividend of 1.17 kuna ($0.165/0.155 euro) per share out of its net profit for 2021.
Some 18.7 million kuna will be distributed as dividend out of last year's net profit of 18.8 million kuna, while the remainder of 135,600 kuna will be retained, the company said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.
Ex-dividend date is July 8, record date is July 11 and payment date is July 21. The shareholders will vote on the proposal on June 29.
Earlier, they decided to retain the company's net profits of 35.2 million kuna for 2020 and 20.8 million kuna for 2019.
The company's majority shareholder is Italian shipbuilding group Palumbo with a stake of almost 82%.
Viktor Lenac's shares traded at 16.40 kuna on Friday afternoon on the Zagreb bourse, up 2.50%.
