March 8 (SeeNews) - The main indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed lower on Friday, with shipbuilding company Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN] pacing the blue-chip losers, bourse data showed.
Viktor Lenac's shares ended the session down 4.2% at 5.70 kuna.
Power transmission equipment manufacturer Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV] led the blue-chip gainers, as its shares closed 2.7% higher at 7.60 kuna.
Croatia's Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS2] generated the highest trading turnover on the ZSE on Friday, of 4 million kuna. Out of that amount, 2.2 million kuna came through a block transaction.
ZSE's total trading turnover increased to 9.9 million kuna ($1.4 million/1.3 million euro), from 4.7 million kuna on Thursday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX share index decreased by 0.26% to 1,762.92 after rising 0.05% on Thursday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, fell by 0.14% to 1,029.20 after growing 0.10% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS increased by 0.12% to 111.3314.
