January 15 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell on Wednesday, as shipbuilding company Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN] paced the blue-chip losers, bourse data showed.
Viktor Lenac's shares lost 2.44% to 8 kuna.
Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS] was the biggest gainer among the blue-chip companies on Wednesday, after pacing the losers on Tuesday. Its preferred shares rose 0.8% to 504 kuna in a turnover of 3.7 million kuna, including a 2.5 million kuna block transaction. The company's ordinary shares did not trade on Wednesday.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT], the biggest gainer on Tuesday, generated the biggest turnover among the blue chips on Wednesday - of 4.8 million kuna. The company's shares closed down 0.53% at 187 kuna.
ZSE's trading turnover fell to 12.1 million kuna ($1.8 million/1.6 million euro) on Wednesday from 16.7 million kuna on Tuesday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index lost 0.19% to 2,048.45 after adding 0.45% in the previous trading session.
The narrower of ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, fell 0.07% to 1,218.17 after rising 0.46% on Tuesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged down 0.05% to 115.7449.
