December 28 (SeeNews) - Croatian hospitality company Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] said on Friday it has increased its own shareholding to 2,4306%.
On December 27, the company acquired 49,273 of its own shares, representing 0.0391% of its share capital, Valamar Riviera said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
Following the latest transaction, the company holds 3,063,205 of its own shares.
The consolidated Valamar Riviera Group owns two brands, Valamar Hotels & Resorts and Camping Adriatic listing 22 hotels, seven apartment resorts, two hostels and ten camp sites. It can accommodate some 43,000 guests daily.
Valamar Riviera's shares have traded up 2.3% at 35.60 kuna ($5.5/4.8 euro) by 13:04 CET on Friday.
