December 20 (SeeNews) - Croatian hospitality company Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] said on Thursday it has increased its own shareholding to 2,3915%.
On December 18, the company acquired 21,554 of its own shares, representing 0.0171% of its share capital, whereas on December 19, it purchased additional 13,556 shares, representing a 0.0108% stake, Valamar Riviera said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
Following the latest transaction, the company holds 3,013,932 of its own shares.
The consolidated Valamar Riviera Group owns two brands, Valamar Hotels & Resorts and Camping Adriatic listing 22 hotels, seven apartment resorts, two hostels and ten camp sites. It can accommodate some 43,000 guests daily.
Valamar Riviera's shares have not been traded by 10:00 CET on Thursday. The company's shares closed at 35.10 kuna ($5.4/4.7 euro) on Wednesday, down by 4.36% from Tuesday's close.
