April 23 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed higher on Tuesday, with tourism company Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] leading the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Valamar's shares closed 4.4% higher at 38 kuna.
Tourism company Maistra [ZSE:MAIS] paced the blue-chip decliners, as its shares closed 5.63% lower at 302 kuna.
Croatian telecommunication services provider [ZSE:HT] was the most traded blue chip company on the ZSE on Tuesday, generating a turnover of 6.4 million kuna, including a 4.7 million kuna block transaction.
ZSE's total trading turnover increased to 14.5 million kuna ($2.2 million/2 million euro), from 7.2 million kuna on Thursday.
The Zagreb Stock Exchange was closed on Friday and Monday for Easter holidays.
The 25-share benchmark share index CROBEX increased by 0.43% on Tuesday to 1,826.50 after growing 0.46% on Thursday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.87% to 1,081.56 after increasing 0.50% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS dropped 0.11% to 112.6977.
