December 18 (SeeNews) - Croatian hospitality company Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] said on Tuesday it has increased its own shareholding to 2.3636%.
On December 14, the company purchased 21,000 of its own shares, representing 0.0167% of its share capital, whereas on December 17, it acquired a further 10,296 shares, representing a stake of 0.0082%, Valamar Riviera said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
Following the latest transaction, the company holds 2,978,822 of its own shares.
The consolidated Valamar Riviera Group owns two brands, Valamar Hotels & Resorts and Camping Adriatic listing 22 hotels, 7 apartment resorts, 2 hostels and 10 camp sites. It can accommodate some 43,000 guests daily.
The company shares traded at 37 kuna ($5.6/5 euro) on the ZSE as at 14:22 CET, unchanged from Monday's close.
