May 11 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipping company Uljanik Plovidba [ZSE:ULPL-R-A] said it turned to a consolidated net profit of 17.388 million kuna ($2.5 million/2.3 million euro) in the first quarter of 2015 from a net loss of 8.930 million kuna in the like period a year earlier.
In the first quarter of 2015 the company posted an operating profit of 4.082 million kuna, as compared to an operating loss of 2.284 million kuna in the year-ago period, Uljanik Plovidba said in a bourse filing. Pre-tax profit stood at 17.467 million kuna, versus a pre-tax loss of 8.930 million kuna in the first quarter of 2014.
Total revenue jumped to 97.710 million kuna in the first quarter of 2015 from 64.728 million kuna in the like period a year earlier.
