August 9 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipbuilder Uljanik [ZSE:ULJN-R-A] said on Thursday it delivered a jack-up platform built for GeoSea Luxembourg, part of Belgian group DEME.
The self-elevating and self-propelled working platform was named Apollo, the Pula-based shipbuilding company said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
"This is the first self-propelled platform built in Uljanik and the first highly sophisticated ship of this type built in Croatia. The Apollo platform is equipped with four 106.8 m long legs that allow it to work at depths of down to 70 meters," Uljanik said in a separate statement.
GeoSea specialises in complex offshore marine engineering projects.
