February 27 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipping company Tankerska Next Generation [ZSE:TPNG] has concluded a two-year charter deal for one of its conventional ice class tankers, to take effect as of March 2020, it said.
Tankerska Next Generation has also concluded an additional three-month charter deal for an ECO class tanker, the company said in a filing with the Zagreb bourse on Wednesday.
The ice class tanker will be leased for some $15,250 (14,024 euro) per day, while the ECO class tanker will be leased for around $16,850 per day.
The unnamed lessee of the ice class tanker has the opportunity to extend the lease agreement by one year for some $15,750 per day. The ECO class tanker can be leased for a further three months, with immediate effect.
Tankerska Next Generation is majority-owned by Zadar-based peer Tankerska Plovidba.
Last week, local media reported that Tankerska Plovidba and Slovenia's Iskra have acquired Dubrovnik-based passenger shipping firm G&V Line for an undisclosed sum.
