June 19 (SeeNews) - The shareholders of Croatian diversified holding company Tankerkomerc approved its planned delisting from the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE), the company said.
The decision was taken at an extraordinary shareholders' meeting held on June 18, the company said in a ZSE filing on Tuesday. It did not elaborate on the reasons for the move.
Tankerkomerc said earlier that a total of 34,182 ordinary shares of 1,880 kuna ($285/254 euro) in par value each will be delisted from the bourse.
In April 2018, Croatian wholesaler and retailer of petroleum products Crodux Derivati Dva increased its stake in Tankerkomerc to 61.92% following a takeover bid, in which it acquired 27.7% equity in Tankerkomerc.
ZSE data showed on Wednesday that a stake of 63% in Tankerkomerc is held in a custodian account with InterKapital Vrijednosni Papiri brokerage. The company itself owns a 6.9% stake, while the remaining equity belongs to smaller shareholders.
Tankerkomerc is active in trade, tourism and services. Its biggest asset is the marina in Zadar, one of Croatia's most beautiful and famous cities. It also controls a terminal for liquid cargo, including petroleum products, in Zadar with a capacity of 62,500 cubic metres.
Crodux Derivati Dva, formerly known as OMV Hrvatska, was part of Austria's OMV group. In 2013, it was taken over by Crodux Plin Group.
