February 17 (SeeNews) - Croatia's public healthcare institution Split-Dalmatia County Pharmacy will hold on Friday a ground-breaking ceremony for a 70 million kuna ($10 million/9.4 million euro) galenic laboratory in the municipality of Dugopolje, the country's government said.
The first phase of works, valued at 6.8 million kuna, will be launched immediately following the ceremony, while the second phase is scheduled to begin in eight months' time, the government said in a statement.
The project will be financed from the organisation's own funds and loans.
State-owned Split-Dalmatia County Pharmacy employs 240 people and runs 36 pharmacies and depots in the Split-Dalmatia and Dubrovnik-Neretva counties.
Dugopolje is a highly developed municipality in the Split-Dalmatia county.
