May 3 (SeeNews) - Croatian IT company Span [ZSE:SPAN] said on Tuesday it will propose to its shareholders to distribute a dividend of 5 kuna ($0.70/0.66 euro) per share from its profit for 2021, the first dividend payment since the company's listing on the Zagreb bourse last year.
Ex-dividend date is June 15, record date is June 17, and payment date is July 1, the company said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.
The company will pay the dividend out of its 19.4 million kuna net profit reported for 2021 and the remainder will be retained.
In 2020, Span distributd no dividend and in 2021 it paid as gross dividend 1.5 million kuna out of its profit for 2019, according to company's listing prospectus.
Span shareholders will vote on the proposal at an annual meeting scheduled on June 13.
The company's shares traded 1.66% higher at 245 kuna intraday on Tuesday, bourse data showed.
