May 31 (SeeNews) - Croatian electric vehicle developer and producer Rimac Automobili said it will unveil its new C_Two all-electric hypercar model on June 1.
The latest model will have a new official name and is built with more extreme performance and immersive features, Rimac Automobili said in an announcement on its YouTube channel on Saturday.
In April, the company announced a plan to build a 200 million euro ($243.7 million) campus, which will be capable of accommodating over 2,500 employees, in order to support its long-term growth plans.
The campus, which will spread on 200,000 sq m with a built-up area of 100,000 sq m, will include an on-site test track and accommodation for visitors and new employees.
Construction is planned to start later this year, with completion expected in 2023. The campus will be located near Rimac's current headquarters in Sveta Nedelja.
Rimac manufactures electric hypercars and provides technology solutions to automotive manufacturers. The company employs around 1,000 people.
German sports car manufacturer Porsche, part of Volkswagen Group, is in discussions with Rimac to form a joint venture that will manage the luxury car brand Bugatti, Volkswagen Group management board chairman Herbert Diess said in March. Earlier the same month, Porsche increased its stake in Rimac to 24% from 15.5% after investing an additional 70 million euro.
