January 28 (SeeNews) - Croatian manufacturer of professional equipment for road maintenance Rasco said on Thursday it has expanded its production capacity following investment of 6 million euro ($7.26 million) under a three-year project.
Rasco's plant was expanded by a new production hall, office building and machines for metal processing, robotic welding, and surface protection. The new premises spread on about 5,000 sq m of indoor space and approximately 17,500 sq m of outdoor space.
With the new facilities, the company is increasing is operating space by 60%, CEO Ivan Franicevic said in the statement.
Some 2 million euro of the investment is co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, Rasco noted.
Rasco exports its products to more than 40 countries around the world.
