April 21 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Croatia fell by 8.0% on the year in the first three months of 2022, to 9,632, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) said, quoting provisional figures.
In March alone, new passenger car registrations in Croatia dropped by 8.3% on the year to 3,810, ACEA said in a statement on Wednesday.
New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, declined 12.3% year-on-year to 2.2 million in the January-March period of 2022, ACEA said in a statement.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 4.8% lower on the year at 273,812 in the first quarter of 2022.
New passenger car registrations in Croatia increased by 25% to 44,915 in 2021, following a 43% drop in 2020.
