September 8 (SeeNews) - Croatia's annual industrial producer price deflation softened to 5.1% in August from 5.5% in July, data from the statistics bureau showed on Thursday.
The producer price index (PPI) decreased 1% month-on-month in August, after edging down 0.8% a month earlier, the data indicated.
On the domestic market, producer prices dropped 5.0% on the year and 1.4% on the month in August.
For products sold abroad, the PPI declined 4.6% on the year and 0.3% on the month.
