February 19 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Privredna Banka Zagreb (PBZ) [ZSE:PBZ-R-A], part of Italian banking group Intesa Sanpaolo, said it plans to pay a dividend of 76.07 kuna ($11.04/10.22 euro) per share from its 2019 net profit, higher than the 72.58 kuna dividend it distributed last year.
The proposal will be put to the vote at the bank's general shareholders meeting scheduled for April 1, 2020, the lender said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) on Tuesday.
If approved, the dividend will be paid out on April 21, 2020 to all registered as shareholders on April 15, the statement reads.
PBZ also said its consolidated net profit rose to 1.738 billion kuna last year from 1.719 billion kuna in 2018.
It added that of the total 2019 result, some 1.651 billion kuna belong to its majority owner and the remaining just over 86 million kuna belong to the smaller shareholders.
PBZ shares did not trade on the ZSE at opening on Wednesday, after closing 0.5% down at 990 kuna on Tuesday.
