February 6 (SeeNews) - Croatian hotel operator Plava Laguna [ZSE:PLAG] said on Monday it will propose to its shareholders to pay a gross dividend of 20.29 euro ($21.8) per ordinary share and 20.32 euro per preferred share out of its retained profit from earlier years.
A total of 53.08 million euro will be paid as dividend, including 53.07 million euro as dividend for ordinary share sand 12,600 euro for preferred shares, it said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.
Last year, it paid as dividend 84.30 kuna ($11.49/11.21 euro) per ordinary share and 84.55 kuna per preferred share as dividend out of its net profit for 2021 from part of its retained profit for 2019.
The shareholders will vote on the proposal on March 23.
Plava Laguna's ordinary shares were the biggest daily gainer on Monday on the Zagreb bourse as they traded8% higher at 270 euro. They are part of the wider blue-chip index of the Zagreb bourse, the Crobex.
The preferred shares are also listed on the Zagreb bourse but have not traded in the last 52 weeks.
