June 23 (SeeNews) - Croatian fertiliser producer Petrokemija [ZSE:PTKM] said on Wednesday it will prolong the shutdown for technical maintenance of its ammonia and urea manufacturing plants.
The plants will be restarted once all necessary technical conditions are in place, the company said in a bourse filing.
Output supplies have been coordinated with the buyers and there are no significant distortions, it added.
The shutdown was originally planned to take place from May 28 to June 11 to enable the optimisation of mineral fertilizer production according to market demand and allow the necessary repair and maintenance of equipment in order to minimise the risk of unplanned shutdowns during the autumn season.
Petrokemija's shares traded 6.12% lower at 46 kuna ($ 7.33/ 6.13 euro) on the Zagreb bourse by 1354 CET on Wednesday on turnover of 3,760 kuna as 80 shares changed hands.
