September 22 (SeeNews) - Croatian fertiliser producer Petrokemija [ZSE:PTKM] said it shut down on Wednesday its urea and ammonia production plants due to a technical failure.
The plants will resume operation after the problem is resolved, the company said in a statement to the Zagreb bourse.
“The other mineral fertiliser production plants are operating as usual and sufficient quantities of all types of mineral fertilizers have been secured to maintain the supply of domestic and regional markets,” the statement added.
The company's shares closed at 42.80 kuna ($6.7/5.7 euro) on the Zagreb bourse on Tuesday, 0.47% down from the previous close.
