December 3 (SeeNews) - Croatian fertiliser producer Petrokemija [ZSE:PTKM] said on Friday it has shut down temporarily its urea and ammonia production plant due to a technical failure.
The plant is expected to resume operation after an assessment and repair of the technical fault, the company said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse, without elaborating.
“Other mineral fertilizer production plants operate as planned and provide sufficient volumes of all mineral fertilizers needed for Croatia and the region's markets,” it added.
Petrokemija said on November 8 all of its production plants were operating again after shutdowns caused by technical problems and a rise in the prices of natural gas and carbon dioxide emissions.
The company's shares last traded on the ZSE Thursday when they closed 1.12% higher at 36.20 kuna ($5.4/4.8 euro).
