January 21 (SeeNews) - Croatian fertiliser producer Petrokemija [ZSE:PTKM] said on Friday that all of its production plants have resumed operation following a pause of almost two months.
“Ammonia production plant as well as all other mineral fertiliser production plants have resumed operation following shutdown in December and January," the company said in a filing to the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
On December 3, Petrokemija said it has shut down temporarily its urea and ammonia production plant due to a technical failure. Earlier last year, the company also suspended production several times due to technical problems and a rise in the prices of natural gas and carbon dioxide emissions.
The company's shareholders will vote on a proposal to delist its shares from the Zagreb bourse on February 21.
Croatian media reported last week that Turkish holding company Yildirim had submitted a binding bid for the acquisition of Petrokemija. According to unofficial information, the bid is valid until January 31, business daily Poslovni Dnevnik reported.
Petrokemija's shares traded at 32.20 kuna ($4.8/4.3 euro) on the ZSE intraday on Friday, down 2.42%.
