November 16 (SeeNews) - Croatian fertiliser producer Petrokemija [ZSE:PTKM-R-A] has said it increased its own shareholding to 0.0026%.
The company acquired 225 of its own new shares and 1,183 shares through the merger of other shareholder’s shares after the completion of its capital reduction, Petrokemija said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange on Thursday.
Earlier this month, Petrokemija completed the reduction of its capital by 392.6 million kuna ($60 million/52.9 million euro) to 100.3 million kuna. Its shares were merged in a ratio of 4.914932950 to 1.
The pertaining number of shares of shareholders who failed to acquire a whole number of shares upon the merger was circled to the first lesser whole number and the remainder was compensated through a payment in cash by the company.
Following this acquisition, the company held a total of 1,408 of its own shares.
After the completion of the transaction, the capital of Petrokemija was reduced to 872,930 ordinary shares with a PTKM-R-A ticker and 9,155,771 ordinary shares with a PTKM-R-D symbol, each with a nominal value of 10 kuna.
Prior to reducing its capital, Petrokemija completed a 450 million kuna capital hike through the conversion of claims in to share capital to cover the 242.6 million kuna loss recorded in 2017.
