March 31 (SeeNews) - Croatia-based investment company Provectus Capital Partners (PCP) said it has invested more than 7 million euro ($7.6 million) in the Aviva polyclinic since taking it over a year and a half ago.
As of April 20, Aviva will start operating at a new location in the capital Zagreb, on more than 2,600 square meters space, PCP said in a press release on Thursday.
By moving to the new location, Aviva polyclinic, which treats more than 60,000 patients annually, becomes the largest and technically most advanced private clinic operating on one location in Croatia.
Aviva is a member of the Arsano Medical Group, together with four other specialist health institutions in Croatia: Special Orthopaedic Hospital Dr. Nemec, Special Hospital Arithera, Dijagnostika 2000 Polyclinic and Uro Centar Polyclinic, as well as a diagnostic health centre, Digitalna Slikovna Siagnostika in Ptuj, northeastern Slovenia.
“Total investment in the consolidation of Arsano Medical Group reached 45 million euro, making it the largest investment in private healthcare in Croatia,” according to the press release.
PCP also runs Adria Dental Group, which consists of seven dental clinics and five dental laboratories in Zagreb, Solin, Rijeka and Porec.
"With Arsano Medical Group, we have created the largest private healthcare group in Croatia with over 400 employees, and more than 100,000 patients using our healthcare facilities annually. However, our ambitions do not stop here. We are continuously in contact with other specialist polyclinics and will continue to grow through new investments in Croatia and the region. The plan is to grow both organically and through acquisitions, and to continue raising the standards for our patients, with continuous investment in employees and technology," Igor Cicak, CEO and managing partner of PCP and chairman of the supervisory board of Arsano Medical Group, said in the press release.
