October 31 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE-R-A] said it swung to a consolidated net profit of 5.4 million kuna ($809,455/724,882 euro) in the first nine months of 2019, from a net loss of 6.5 million kuna in the like period a year earlier.
Nine-month operating income edged up 0.3% year-on-year to 402.1 million kuna, while operating costs fell 3.8% to 291.9 million kuna, Optima said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) on Wednesday.
Consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 10.6% to 91.4 million kuna.
Consolidated capital investments amounted to 59.6 million kuna in the first nine months of 2019.
Optima's shares traded at 6.40 kuna by 1023 CET on Thursday on ZSE, down 4.48% from Wednesday's close.
