July 10 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) dropped on Wednesday, as telecommunication services provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] paced the blue-chip losers, bourse data showed.
Optima Telekom's shares closed 7.5% lower at 5.55 kuna.
Power transmission equipment manufacturer Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV] led the blue-chip gainers, as its share price rose 1.66% to 4.90 kuna.
Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS] generated the highest trading turnover among the blue-chip companies on Wednesday, of 6.5 million kuna, including a 5.7 million kuna block transaction.
ZSE's total trading turnover fell to 11.8 million kuna ($1.8 million/1.6 million euro), from 13.6 million kuna on Tuesday.
The 25-share benchmark index CROBEX fell 0.24% to 1,880.96 after edging down 0.01% in the previous trading session.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, dropped 0.11% to 1,095.86 after falling 0.26% on Tuesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index added 0.07% to 114.9596.
