February 22 (SeeNews) - The main indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed higher on Friday, with telecommunication provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] rising the most among the blue-chips, ZSE trading data showed.
Optima's shares closed 1.85% higher at 1.65 kuna.
Confectionery producer Kras [ZSE:KRAS], Thursday's biggest gainer, paced the blue-chip decliners on Friday, closing 2.59% lower at 376.0 kuna.
On Thursday Kras added 3.21%.
Shares of diversified holding Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS2] generated the highest turnover on the stock exchange on Friday, of 977,317 kuna.
ZSE's total trading turnover decreased to 4.6 million kuna ($702,625/619,552 euro) on Friday, from 5.2 million kuna on Thursday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX share index rose by 0.21% to 1,776.30 after rising 0.20% on Thursday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, increased by 0.12% to 1,033.30 after growing 0.10% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS fell by 0.02% to 110.9250.
