May 16 (SeeNews) - Croatia's net electricity production almost halved to 844 GWh in March from 1,558 GWh in the same month of 2018, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
On a monthly comparison basis, electricity output also dropped, from 1,093 GWh in February, the office said in a statement.
Croatia's electricity imports decreased to 1,103 GWh in March from 1,371 GWh in the same month last year, while exports plunged to 451 GWh from 1,237 GWh.
Month-on-month, electricity imports jumped 30% in March, while exports edged down 0.7%.
Electricity made available to the domestic market amounted to 1,488 GWh in March, up from 1,463 GWh in February, but down slightly from 1,691 GWh in March 2018.
