July 21 (SeeNews) - Croatian pharmaceuticals distributor Medika Group [ZSE:MDKA] said on Thursday its consolidated net profit rose to 58.5 million kuna ($7.9 million/ 7.8 million euro) in the first half of this year from 47 million kuna in 2020.
Medika's operating profit rose 13.77% year-on-year to 60.9 million kuna as operating costs grew slower than operating revenue, the company said in an consolidated unaudited report filed with the Zagreb bourse.
Its first-half sales revenue went up 12.95% on the year in the six months through June, reaching 2.242 billion kuna.
Medika group's total revenue stood at 2.272 billion kuna last year, an annual increase of 13.39%.
The company's shares last traded on the Zagreb bourse on July 10, closing 1.33% higher at 30,400 kuna.
