December 20 (SeeNews) - Croatian beverages producer Maraska [ZSE:MRSK] said it supports the buyout bid of fruit juice producer Stanic Beverages for the remaining 24,978 regular shares of the company representing 1.75% interest that it does not own yet.
The Maraska management considers positive the bidder's statements that the bid will have no negative impact on the rights and the status of the company's current employees, and that it intends to maintain the company's employment policy, it said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse released after the end of the trading session on Friday.

Stanic Beverages is proposing to pay 67.34 ($10.12/8.96 euro) kuna per each Maraska share it wants to acquire.
Stanic Beverages was obliged to make the tender offer following the acquisition of a 98.25% stake in Maraska in September.
Maraska's shares last traded on the ZSE on December 10, when they closed 12.86% lower at 61 kuna.
