August 14 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) ended in positive territory on Monday, as food, beverages and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] paced the blue-chip risers, bourse data showed.
Podravka's shares went up 6.27% to 135.50 euro on Monday, ZSE data showed. Its shares were also the most liquid on the bourse, generating a turnover of 1.4 million euro ($1.5 million).
Shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] was the sole decliner among the blue chips, as its shares went down 1.59% to 49.60 euro on Monday.
The 15-share equity index CROBEX gained 1.41% to end at 2,442.11 points. The CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, rose 1.87% to close at 1,456.90 points.
The total on-exchange turnover increased to 5.5 million euro on Monday from 1.4 million euro on Friday.
