March 14 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rebounded on Tuesday as Turisthotel, which is not part of them, was in the spotlight, bourse data showed.
The 18-share CROBEX advanced 0.49% to end at 2,258.01 points. The narrower index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.23% to finish at 1,289.59 points.
Hotel owner Turisthotel [ZSE:TUHO] was the most traded company with a turnover of 265,200 euro ($284,400). Its shares ended flat at 600 euro on the news that on Monday shipping company Tankerska Plovidba launched a takeover bid by for the 60.66% interest it does not already own in it. The price that Tankerska Plovidba offers to pay is 610.53 euro per share.
Software developer SPAN [ZSE:SPAN] ranked second by turnover with some 255,000 euro. Its shares rose 3.07% to close 50.40 euro. It is part of the wider index, but as of March 20 will be also a member of the narrower blue-chip index.
The bourse's total trading turnover fell to 1.4 million euro from 1.7 million euro on Monday.
