June 1 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) advanced on Thursday, erasing their losses from the previous day, thanks to gains in Podravka and Hrvatski Telekom, bourse data showed.
The 15-share CROBEX rose 0.49% to close at 2,268.28 points. The narrower index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, climbed 0.75% to finish at 1,309.88 points.
Food and pharmaceuticals company Podravka [ZSE:PODR] was the most traded stock with a turnover of 150,300 euro ($162,000). Its shares appreciated 2.20% to 102 euro on the news that it invested some 5 million euro in a new production line for bread in the Slovenian capital Ljubljana as part of the restructuring process of its Slovenian unit, food company Zito.
Shares of Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] increased 0.81% to close at 25 euro in a turnover of 63,000 euro.
The overall trading turnover fell to 758,300 euro from 999,500 euro on Wednesday.
