January 24 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) added more than 1.3% each on Tuesday, extending their gains from the previous two trading days, bourse data showed.
The 18-share CROBEX ended 1.35% higher at 2,101.87 points thanks to gains in most of the blue chips. The narrower CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, advanced 1.53% to close at 1,230.37 points.
Food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] was the most traded company with a turnover of 108,000 euro ($117,500). Its shares rose 1.75% to close at 93.20 euro.
Electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] closed 2.46% higher at 125 euro on the news that on Tuesday it opened a 7.0 million euro laboratory for power systems and drives.
Car parts maker AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL] went up 3.05% to end at 13.50 euro following the news that it has signed several new contracts for the European market with Dutch-based automotive products manufacturer Stellantis, which are expected to fetch 38.2 million euro in revenue.
Among the other blue chips, Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] appreciated 1.24%, and shares of Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] rose 3.93%.
The bourse's total trading turnover was 740,000 euro, almost unchanged compared to Monday.
