January 11 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose for the fourth straight session amidst a higher turnover, bourse data showed on Wednesday.
The bourse's total trading turnover reached 1.5 million euro ($1.6 million) from 591,700 euro on Tuesday.
The 18-share CROBEX added 0.87% to end at 2,068.35 points as most of the blue chips ended higher. The narrower CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, went up 0.78% to finish at 1,205.49 points.
Shares of hotel owner and operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] generated the biggest daily turnover, 98,562 euro, as they rose 0.97% to close at 4.18 euro.
Shares of car parts maker AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL] gained a further 0.78% to close at 12.84 euro in a turnover of 94,100 euro, following strong gains in the previous two trading days.
The prices are quoted in both euro and kuna.
