December 23 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) ended mixed on Thursday, bourse data showed on Wednesday.
The 18-share equity CROBEX added 0.03% to finish at 1,961.60 points, enging higher for a fifth day in a row.The narrower index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, dipped 0.15% to close at 1,150.28 points.
Hotel owner Plava Laguna [ZSE:PLAG] was the most traded company with a turnover of 2.9 million kuna ($407,000/384,000 euro) as its shares gained o.54% to close at 1,860 kuna. It is part of the broader index.
Shares of blue chip food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] fell 0.63% to finish at 636 kuna in a turnover of 1.7 million kuna.
Exchange traded fund InterCapital CROBEX10tr UCITS [ZSE:7CRO], which is not part of the main indices, was the third most traded issue on the bourse on Thursday, with a turnover of 1.0 million kuna. Its shares appreciated 0.71% to end at 113.70 kuna.
In lower turnovers, shares of hotel owner and operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] went up 0.34%, shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] fell 1.05%, hotel owner and manager Arena Hospitality [ZSE:ARNT] declined 0.84% and index heavyweight Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] dipped 0.28%.
Despite a 2.4 million kuna block deal with shares of lender Istarska Kreditna Banka [ZSE:IKBA], the bourse's total trading turnover fell to 10.8 million from 12.7 million kuna on Wednesday.
