January 26 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose by more than 0.7% each, building on their gains from the previous five sessions, as turnover doubled, bourse data showed on Thursday.
The bourse's total trading turnover reached 1.4 million euro ($1.5 million) from 688,000 euro on Wednesday.
The 18-share CROBEX gained 0.73% to close at 2,122.34 points. The narrower CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, rose 0.78% to close at 1,245.78 points.
Food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] was the most traded company with a turnover of 219,000 euro ($239,000). Its shares appreciated 1.49% to end at 95.40 euro.
Among the other blue chips, ICT solutions providerEricsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] rose 2.09%, preferred shares of Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] rose 1.55% and shares of consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] went up 2.09%.
The prices are quoted in both euro and kuna.
