September 13 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) lost ground on Tuesday amidst low turnover, bourse data showed.
The 22-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, ended 0.07% lower at 1,992.20 points. The narrower CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, declined 0.15% to finish at 1,187.20 points.
Blue chip shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] was the most traded company with a daily turnover of 1.8 million kuna ($241,000/241,000 euro). Its shares appreciated 0.23% to end at 430 kuna.
None other company registered a daily turnover above the one million kuna mark.
Index heavyweight Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] ranked second by turnover with 359,000 kuna. Its shares declined 0.27% to close at 187 kuna.
Another shipping company, Jadroplov [ZSE:JDPL], was the biggest daily gainer on Tuesday. Its shares rose 9.09% to end at 66 kuna in a turnover of 98,200 kuna. Its shares are part of the CROBEX but are not included in the narrower equity index.
The bourse's total trading turnover fell to 3.9 million kuna from 8.2 million kuna on Monday, when it was boosted by a 4.0 million kuna block deal.
