November 17 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) declined on Thursday in a lower turnover, after a brief rebound on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
The bourse's regular trading turnover plunged to 3.7 million kuna ($509,000/491,000 euro) from 10.4 million kuna on Wednesday.
The 19-share CROBEX lost 0.37% to finish at 1,902.93 points. The narrower index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, fell 0.45% to close at 1,125.07 points.
Preferred shares of diversified holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] were the only stock with a turnover above the one million kuna turnover, with 1.7 million kuna. They fell 1.08% to end at 367 kuna.
Index heavyweight, food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] lost 0.32% to end at 630 kuna in a turnover of 454,000 kuna.
In lower turnovers, shares of car parts maker AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL] went down 0.26%, hotel owner and operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] fell 0.70% and consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa shed 1.83%.
On Friday, the bourse is closed due to remembrance day for the victims of the homeland war and the victims of Vukovar and Skabrnja, a public and market holiday in Croatia. The next trading day is on Monday, November 21.
