January 19 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) declined on Thursday as losses in Hrvatski Telekom and Adris offset gains in Podravka, bourse data showed.
The 18-share CROBEX dipped 0.48% to end at 2,058.46 points. The narrower CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, dipped 0.18% to finish at 1,199.11 points.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE: HT] finished 2.06% lower to close at 23.80 euro in the day's largest turnover, 82,000 euro ($76,000).
Second by turnover ranked index heavyweight Podravka [ZSE:PODR] with 48,000 euro. Its shares gained 1.81% to end at 90 euro. Preferred shares of Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] lost 1.18% to close at 50.40 euro in a turnover of 13,000 euro.
Shares of Turisthotel [ZSE:TUHO] appreciated 1.71% to finish at 595 euro on the news that shipping company Tankerska Plovidba intends to make a voluntary tender offer to the other shareholders of the hotel owner for the remaining 60.66% interest that it does not already own.
The bourse's total trading turnover rose to some 990,000 euro from 757,000 euro on Wednesday.
