September 14 (SeeNews) - A consortium of Croatian construction company Magnum Supra and engineering company Elektrocentar Petek has signed a deal worth almost 400 million kuna ($53 million/53 million euro) to design and build a waste management centre, the Dubrovnik-Neretva county said.
The construction of the Lucino Razdolje facility near the Trnovica village has to be completed in three years, the Dubrovnik-Neretva county authorities said on Tuesday after the consortium signed the deal with the county agency for waste management.
Croatia's environment protection and energy efficiency fund said in a separate statement that it will contribute 81 million kuna to the project.
Some 70% of the overall funding for the construction of the centre has been secured from a grant from the EU's Competitiveness and Cohesion Fund 2014-2020, while the Dubrovnik-Neretva country will finance some 10% of the project costs, according to the website of Lucino Razdolje.
