December 7 (SeeNews) - Croatian port operator Luka Rijeka [ZSE:LKRI-R-A] plans to make investments worth 76.278 million kuna ($11.7 million/10.3 million euro) in 2019, the company has said.
The company's supervisory board approved the investment plan for 2019 on November 22, Luka Rijeka said in a filing to the Zagreb Stock Exchange on Thursday.
Investments in 2019 are focused on the purchase of new equipment, maintenance and overhaul existing capacity, as well as preparing technical and project documentation for the further improvement of working conditions.
The financing of the investments will be ensured through the sale of tangible and financial assets not necessary for the operation of the port, Luka Rijeka said.
Rijeka, situated in the northern part of the Kvarner Bay, is the largest seaport in Croatia.
