April 29 (SeeNews) - Croatian sea port operator Luka Rijeka [ZSE:LKRI-R-A] said its net profit surged to 19.306 million kuna ($2.769 million/2.542 million euro) in the first quarter of 2015 from 6.765 million kuna in the like period a year earlier.
First-half operating profit amounted to 3.421 million kuna, down from 4.239 million kuna in the year-ago period, the company said in a bourse filing. Pre-tax profit amounted to 19.306 million kuna in the first three months of 2015, as compared to 6.765 million kuna in the like period of 2014.
Total revenue jumped to 47.039 million kuna from 34.610 million kuna in the first quarter of 2014.
Total assets amounted to 460.829 million kuna at the end of March, down from 470.709 million kuna a year earlier.
