October 30 (SeeNews) - Croatian Adriatic port operator Luka Ploce [ZSE:LKPC] said on Wednesday its consolidated net profit soared to 7 million kuna ($1.0 million/939,168 euro) in the first nine months of 2019, from 3.85 million kuna in the comparable period of last year.
Nine-month operating revenue fell to 130.8 million kuna, down 26.2% on the year, while operating expenses decreased by 29% to 123.3 million kuna, Luka Ploce said in an unaudited financial report filed with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
The port operator's total assets amounted to 556.1 million kuna at the end of September, down from 560 million kuna at the end of 2018.
Luka Ploce employed 553 people at the end of the review period.
