December 7 (SeeNews) - Croatian winery Kutjevo is interested in acquiring local poultry producer Koka [ZSE:KOKA], Koka announced on Tuesday, citing a notification by the law firm representing the winery.
“As part of its expansion and investment plans, Kutjevo has shown interest to invest in Koka by acquiring shares in the company,” Dragivecic I Partneri law firm said in the notification forwarded to the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) by Varazdin-based Koka.

The law firm is seeking a meeting with Koka's management to discuss the opportunities for a takeover, or other investment opportunities.
The ZSE put Koka's shares in the segment for monitoring on Tuesday following the announcement of interest by Kutjevo.
Koka's shares last traded in November 11, when they closed at 466 kuna ($69.7/62 euro), down 0.85%.
