March 3 (SeeNews) - Croatian confectionery producer Kras [ZSE:KRAS-R-A] said its consolidated net profit rose to 25.2 million kuna ($4 million/3.3 million euro) in 2020, from 19.1 million kuna a year earlier.
The company reported flattish consolidated operating revenue of 1.03 billion kuna and 1 bilion kuna in operating expenditures in 2020, Kras said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) last week.
Sales revenue on the domestic market totalled 529.4 million kuna, down 5.1% on the year, while sales abroad fell 4.1% to 444.6 million kuna in 2020.
"In 2020, Kras saw an increase of its business activity in terms of higher operating revenues, increased volume sales, higher production as well as increased investment activities," the group said in the filing.
The company's total assets fell to 1.06 billion kuna at the end of 2020, compared to 1.14 billion kuna a year earlier.
Kras shares closed flat at 688 kuna on ZSE on Tuesday. They did not trade at opening on Wednesday.
