January 24 (SeeNews) - Croatian electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] said on Tuesday it opened a 7.0 million euro ($7.6 million) laboratory for power systems and drives.
“The laboratory is crucial for the continuity and development of high-voltage equipment testing,” Koncar said in a statement.
The new facility consists of nine laboratories internationally accredited for nearly 700 testing and calibration methods.
The construction works on the laboratory were launched in July 2021. The investment is fully financed from Koncar's own funds.
Koncar's shares traded 2.46% higher at 125 euro on Tuesday afternoon on the Zagreb stock exchange.
