December 29 (SeeNews) - Croatian electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] said on Wednesday its electric vehicles manufacturing unit signed a 129.9 million kuna ($19.5 million/17.3 million euro) framework deal for repair and maintenance of low-floor trams with ZET, the public transport company of the city of Zagreb.
The agreement covers a period of two years and based on it individual contracts will be signed for repair and maintenance of trams delivered to the city, Koncar said in a filing with the Zagreb bourse.
Koncar delivered 142 low-floor trams to Zagreb Electric Tram worth over 250 million euro ($283 million) in total from 2005 to 2010.
Koncar's shares traded at 880 kuna on Wednesday afternoon on the Zagreb bourse, up 1.15%.
