April 30 (SeeNews) - Croatian electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI-R-A] said on Tuesday the consolidated net profit of Koncar Group fell to 5 million kuna ($756,812/674,500 euro) in the first quarter, from 13.7 million kuna a year earlier.
The group's total consolidated revenues increased by 6.6% year-on-year to 632.1 million kuna in the three months through March, while total sales revenue rose 13.2% to 606.6 million kuna, Koncar said in filing to the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
Out of the 16 companies within the Koncar Group, 14 turned profit, while two suffered a combined loss of 15.8 million kuna.
Koncar's revenues from the sale of products and services on the domestic market dropped 5.9% on the year to 211.9 million kuna in January-March, while sales on foreign markets grew 27% to 394.7 million kuna.
Koncar Elektroindustrija is the leader of Koncar Group.
